With more than 20 years of experience, Dr Matthew can help you reach your goals and improve the quality of your life and relationships. He provides a safe space to explore issues and provides an expert's perspective on the sequences of behaviour and patterns at play in your life. If you tend to have a negative outlook, don't expect to become an optimist overnight. But with practice, eventually, your self-talk will contain less self-criticism and more self-acceptance. You may also become less critical of the world around you.

When your state of mind is generally optimistic, you're better able to handle everyday stress in a more constructive way. That ability may contribute to the widely observed health benefits of positive thinking. If you're tired of feeling out of control; if you're ready for something better, then now is the time to take control of your life. It's time to achieve your goals so you can flourish and thrive.

Dr Matthew is the founder president of EMDR Singapore in 2010-2012 and has been a facilitator with the EMDR Institute since 2011. He has also undertaken the Basic and Masters Level Training for EMDR therapy from 2007-2012 and is the President of EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing) Asia, an organisation that upholds the standards and training of EMDR therapy across Asia. He continues to teach at the National University of Singapore on the Psychotherapy program as an Adjunct A/Prof.
