About The Expat Chiro

The Expat Chiro, Erik Anderson, is an American Doctor of Chiropractic and graduate of the University of Western States, now based in Singapore. After practising in Oregon, he relocated to Singapore with his family and founded The Expat Chiro to provide evidence-based chiropractic care to both the expat community and locals across the island.

Erik was inspired to enter the profession following a sports injury, not back pain. When chiropractic adjustments helped resolve his knee issue after other approaches failed, it reshaped his understanding of chiropractic care as something that extends beyond the spine. Today, he works with the whole body, developing care plans informed by biomechanics and current research. Using a comprehensive, multi-modal approach, Erik supports clients in working towards their goals while equipping them with strengthening and mobility strategies to stay pain-free at home.

Whether the goal is lifting children without shoulder pain or achieving a smoother cadence on a deadlift, Erik partners closely with his clients to get them there. He focuses on demystifying each issue, clearly explaining the rationale behind his hands-on care, and when needed, collaborates with other healthcare providers to ensure consistent, well-coordinated care.
