For close to 10 years, we have supported many individuals and couples through some of life's most significant transitions, from preparing for pregnancy and navigating fertility journeys, to preparing for birth and adjusting to life as parents.

Our approach is human-centred, holistic and integrative, drawing on counselling, coaching, hypnotherapy, HypnoBirthing®, art therapy and mind–body approaches to support both the individual and the relationship.

Joey Lai
Fertility & Birth Specialist, Counsellor and Clinical Hypnotherapist

Joey is a professional counsellor, coach and educator providing mental health support to individuals and couples.  She has worked in various settings, including community organisations, hospitals, IVF clinics, as well as private practices, where she has gained experience supporting individuals and couples across diverse background.

She is particularly passionate in supporting couples through the complexities of their fertility and birth journey, offering compassionate guidance and understanding. Her clinical portfolio includes working with clients who are struggling with mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, panic attacks, anger, loneliness, grief, stress, burnout, infidelity, and relational issues. 

Known for her warmth and open-mindedness, Joey fosters a safe, compassionate and non-judgmental space for her clients. Employing a person-centered approach that blends holistic and psychotherapeutic techniques.  She has had the privilege of journeying with many of them, guiding them on a journey of self-discovery to gain clarity and achieve their goals.

In addition to seeing clients, Joey contributes her expertise to the field by teaching at Thomson Medical Centre, volunteering at WINGS Counselling and serving as an active Executive Committee member of the Association of Hypnosis Professionals Singapore (AHPS).  Joey’s earlier career as an international consultant and her clinical experiences have enriched her perspective, allowing her to effectively work with clients from diverse ages, socioeconomic backgrounds and niche environments.

She is passionate and dedicated to supporting her clients in navigating life’s challenges and restoring hope in their journeys.
