AZ Wellness was founded by Azeemeh Taqi, who transitioned from the corporate world after realising that true fulfilment comes from helping others build lives that feel authentic, grounded and aligned. While the name AZ reflects her initials, it also represents her philosophy of supporting individuals in their wellness journey from A to Z, guiding both the physical and emotional aspects of growth.
At AZ Wellness, we believe that wellbeing is not just about how you look. It is about how you feel in your body and the relationship you build with yourself. We work at the intersection of physical training and mental health, helping clients understand the beliefs, habits and stress patterns that shape their behaviour. Our focus is to introduce movement and nutrition in a way that feels sustainable, supportive and realistic for each person’s lifestyle.
We do not aim for quick transformations. We aim for a long term identity shift. Over time, movement becomes something you choose because it feels good, nourishment becomes an act of care, and confidence grows naturally from feeling connected to your body and grounded in your choices. Whether you are rebuilding strength, recovering from burnout or learning to reconnect with your body, we walk with you as you develop balance in your mind and strength in your body, working toward a way of living that feels authentic and aligned.

Azeemeh Taqi
Founder, Personal Trainer & Therapist
After beginning her fitness journey through trial and error, fad diets, and injuries caused by poor guidance, Azee set out to understand the science behind safe and effective training. She fell in love with strength training, shifting her focus from shrinking her body through endless cardio and restriction to feeling empowered by strength, nourishment, and sustainable progress. To deepen her expertise, she certified as a personal trainer and completed the Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) qualification.
As she grew in the fitness space, Azee recognised a deeper gap between physical and mental wellness. Through her own experiences with therapy, she recognised how internal beliefs and self-critical narratives can impact not only progress in the gym, but how a person shows up in their own life. This awareness inspired her to pursue a Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling Psychology, where she is now certified as a mental health therapist as well. She studied therapeutic approaches like Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to help others untangle their own stories and move toward physical and mental alignment.
Today, as both a Personal Trainer and Therapist, Azee integrates fitness and mental health to help clients build sustainable habits that support long-term health and wellbeing. She works with individuals to identify the blockages that hold them back, guides them in cultivating mindfulness, and teaches the importance of proper nourishment alongside physical movement. She has supported individuals of different ages and backgrounds, including those recovering from injuries, navigating burnout, and rebuilding confidence. For Azee, fitness and mental health are not separate paths but complementary tools that foster resilience and guide each person toward becoming their most authentic self.

Hoi Han
Personal Trainer
After taking a leap of faith to become a fitness trainer post graduation, Hoi Han has never looked back since.
“Keeping an active lifestyle has not only helped me gain confidence, but also improved my energy levels, mental health and instilled a sense of discipline in me. I hope to help others experience the joy, confidence, strength and alignment I have developed from integrating fitness into my life!”
With life mottos of “balance is key” and “health is wealth”, Hoi Han hopes to help individuals of all ages find a sense of balance in this fast-paced modern society as well as maintain a healthy body and mind. She strongly believes in the mental and physical benefits of sustaining a healthy lifestyle after having experienced the effectiveness of exercising as a de-stressing mechanism herself. A true foodie at heart, Hoi Han also hopes to marry her love for food with her love for fitness, to cultivate the ideology that “food is fuel, not enemy”. The benefits of combining proper nutrition, fitness and mental wellbeing is the knowledge she wishes to impart on her clients.
