Each practice focuses on certain parts of the body for example, lower back, neck, shoulders, knees, etc. The emphasis is on alignment and breathing to bring the body back to health. Her Ashtanga Basics is a dynamic practice focusing on moving the body along with the breath. The class follows the classical Ashtanga Asana sequence and technique with emphasis on the rhythm of ujjayi breathing. This practice improves strength and concentration in short period of time, and is suitable for new practitioners and anyone looking to increase their knowledge of Ashtanga.
