Joash Boh

Joash is a Certified Athletic Therapist who graduated from the University of Manitoba, Canada in 2020 with a Bachelor of Kinesiology and Athletic Therapy. He was the head student therapist for the Bison’s Women Soccer and Swimming Teams concurrently where he attended to the athletes’ preparation and injuries during events, practices, and games. He also attended to them during their rehabilitation process at the Bison clinic.

He had worked with patients from different backgrounds such as Olympians, high-level and amateur athletes, and the general public through his work experience and clinical placements in high-performance centers, multidisciplinary clinics, and various sports teams.

Joash is experienced in acute and chronic injury management. He uses different therapeutic skills, including exercise prescription, manual therapy, and other therapeutic modalities, to facilitate recovery, performance, and function. He enjoys educating others about the body, emphasizing active rehabilitation and exercise.

Joash’s interest in rehabilitation came after sustaining multiple sports injuries resulting in surgeries and rehabilitation. Through first-hand experience, he learned that the road to recovery can be a dreadful process. Because of this, he realized the importance of complete rehabilitation and wants to share what he learned to enable others to return to their day-to-day activities and sports, pain-free.
